Tom has designed over 50 disc golf courses over the last 20 years. He is a Master Designer in the nationwide organization, the 'Disc Golf Course Designers', and along with Chuck Kennedy founded the group in order to maintain fair and consistent design criteria throughout the country. There are over 100 members. Ed Headrick was one of the first members.

Some of the main factors that this group looks for is safety, flow of play and challenging fairways with an eye for casual and tournament play.  Variety of shots is also important so that a well designed course can be fun and a learning experience. Multiple tees and pin placements may also be included in the design phase.

As a multi World Champion, Tom is also available to make personal appearances at Grand Openings and Special Events.  He will also conduct a clinic for the new players.

Tom has been a college instructor for Flying Disc Sports for over 20 years at 4 major universities. All credit classes.
